I've been off road-tripping around the US (more on that, maybe, in a later post). In my In-Box on my return was a link to the Dutch national TV piece about the persistence and post-steel revival of Pittsburgh. There is little new here (unless, of course, someone wants to translate a bunch of Dutch; I have no idea what the reporter is saying!), but the Dutch captured some pretty pictures on the couple of (relatively) blue days that they were in town. Interspersed with the attractive stuff are two clips of me. Hup Holland Hup!

Wonderful job... and a wonderful video... really interesting to see the Dutch perspective.
I'm sitting in front of Piccolo Forno, on Butler Street. Because the point was to show that Pittsburgh had something as cool as "free WiFi at a coffee shop," the original plan was to shoot at the Coca Cafe (more or less next door). But the light wasn't right.
Also, that's not my laptop.
Let's hear it for Pittsburgh, America's most little-known treasure. And trust the Dutch to discover it, and to do such a great report on the city's resurgence.
