Miss Pittsblog?
I've been away (in fact, I'm still away), which explains the last of posting for the last couple of weeks. I'm looking out my window right now at 60 degrees and a steady rain. But the beer is especially tasty, the public transportation system is incredible, and you can almost feel the pulse of the economic vibe in the region. So I'm obviously not in Pittsburgh. One thing the locals do share with Pittsburgh, however: a powerhouse football team and local passion therefor that borders on obsession. More next week.

So where are you then? Are we to guess? If so, I guess Vancouver. I was there recently and your description fits.

Drew, you and all are welcome to guess. Vancouver is a good one, but not correct. I've been there a few times, and while Vancouver is a great city, the beer, sports passion, and public transit all are better here.
Hmm. I haven't been following the weather in Vancouver, but a few miles to the south it has been beautiful and sunny, as is typical of the Pacific NW in the summertime. (They did have an unusually cold spring out here though. I was interviewing in Vancouver when it snowed in April!)
I would have to guess Mike's somewhere in the UK. If I were more ambitious I would look for currently running cyberlaw conferences.

If you are in Germany, then I would say Berlin is the city. I say Berlin because that's the city I would move to if I was looking to ride the next wave of economic globalization. And the energy there right now beats New York, London or Paris.
Okay, not Germany, so how about Belgium?
