Here's an interesting website for would-be Pittsburgh college students: The College City.

A good tie in with this would be promoting UPMC and the healthcare industry here, which is really second to none. Plant a hospital near the airport and buy more helicopters. UPMC International|Homeland Security Center. "The Health City"
NOW FOR A WORD ABOUT BEER! The New Iron City Power Brewing: Microbes will convert wood, corn stalks and other plant waste into sugars that are easily brewed into ethanol. We'll see who invests. If this works out, many a troubled brewery (Pittsburgh) could find itself a new source of revenue or at least get off the power grid and lower operating costs. If it works, it could revolutionize brewing.
No college city is really complete without a strong brewery or two in place.
New beer laws. "According to West Virginia law, only "nonintoxicating" beer can be sold in the state."
""It's about tourism," says Delegate John Doyle, D-Jefferson, main sponsor of the bill, along with Kanawha County Democrats Jon Amores, Bonnie Brown, Corey Palumbo, Danny Wells and Carrie Webster and Ohio County Republican Gil White." The Charleston Gazette, W.Va.
That sounds unconstitutional. West Virginia tourism should get a real boost by outlawing intoxicating beers. Ha ha! Non-intoxicating bourbon could be next along with wine.

"I respect beer." Quote from a movie.
