Pittsburgh's Purchase Circle

Over at amazon.com, they've come up with "purchase circles," lists of the most popular books purchased by buyers in certain regions and institutions.

Not sure how they figure out what goes on the list. I checked out the Boulder, CO purchase circle. Other than the obvious navel gazing books, they have a book at #6 Lonely Planets : The Natural Philosophy of Alien Life (Hardcover) that is out of print!
